From June 2006 to June 2007, we lived in Evanston, Illinois so that Matt could get his MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University. Karen brought home the bacon while working at Beam Global Spirits & Wine. We had an amazing year and made lots of new friends from the U.S. and all over the world. On June 16, 2007 (Matt's graduation day), that chapter of our lives chaotically came to an end and we embarked on a series of new adventures, starting with a big trip around the world on the way to Shanghai, China. This blog documents our travels and memories from the pre-move trip, and will continue as our means of sharing our lives here in China with our friends and family.
